The 4-Dimensional Father
Session 1: Your Father Journey
We've all heard the saying, "What got you here won't get you there," yet how often have you looked at the influences that shaped your journey as a leader and a father? We’ll take time to reflect and intentionally craft a compelling vision. You'll also be asked to have a candid conversation with your family about what they wish for you to grow into as a father. This week focuses on that through line from values to behaviors so that you know precisely what to focus on over the next several weeks and so that the group can support you in living out these values wholeheartedly.
session 2: The 4-dimensional Father
What legacy do you want to leave as a father? Are your everyday actions in alignment with this legacy? This week, we’ll explore the 4-Dimensional Father framework, focusing on how you can integrate authority, wisdom, protection, and legacy into your role as a father. It’s about becoming a father who breaks generational patterns and leaves a legacy that betters both the world and the lives of their children.
Session 3: The Father King
How do you wield your authority as a father? This week, we’ll dive into the Father King dimension, exploring how to lead with both confidence and compassion. It’s about learning to make decisions that are fair and just, while creating an environment where your children can thrive under your guidance. You’ll focus on aligning your authority with the legacy you wish to leave, ensuring that your leadership empowers rather than controls.
Session 4: The Tyrant
Are you aware of when your authority becomes overbearing? This session focuses on understanding the shadow side of the Father King: The Tyrant. We’ll explore how unchecked power can manifest as control, rigidity, and fear, and how these patterns can undermine the legacy you want to create. You’ll learn to recognize these tendencies in yourself and work on transforming them, ensuring that your authority remains constructive and loving.
Session 5: The Elder
How do you embody wisdom as a father? In this session, we’ll explore the dimension of The Elder, focusing on how to integrate experience, knowledge, and insight into your fatherhood journey. It’s about becoming the wise guide your children need, offering counsel and perspective that helps them navigate life’s challenges. You’ll work on deepening your wisdom to ensure it resonates through the legacy you leave behind.
Session 6: The Adolescent
Are you aware of the moments when your wisdom falters? This week, we’ll delve into the shadow side of The Elder: The Adolescent. We’ll explore how immaturity and impulsiveness can surface when wisdom is underdeveloped or unbalanced. This session will help you identify these traits within yourself and guide you toward maturing your wisdom, ensuring that you model stability and clarity for your children.
Session 7: The Wild Warrior
How do you protect what matters most? This session focuses on the Wild Warrior dimension, where we’ll explore how to channel your inner strength and courage to defend your family and values. It’s about becoming a protector who acts with integrity and honor, using your power to create a safe and nurturing environment for your children. You’ll work on harnessing this energy to leave a legacy of strength and security.
Session 8: The bully
Are you mindful of when your protective instincts become harmful? This week, we’ll confront the shadow side of The Wild Warrior: The Bully. We’ll explore how aggression and dominance can emerge when protection is driven by fear or unresolved anger. This session will help you recognize these behaviors in yourself and transform them, ensuring that your strength serves as a source of protection rather than harm.
Session 9: The Hoarder
Are you aware of when accumulation becomes a burden? This week, we’ll explore the shadow side of The Builder: The Hoarder. We’ll examine how the desire to accumulate—whether it’s wealth, possessions, or control—can overshadow your true purpose. This session will help you identify and release these tendencies, guiding you toward a legacy that is generous and meaningful, rather than weighed down by excess.
Session 10: the builder
What are you creating for the future? In this session, we’ll focus on The Builder dimension, exploring how you can shape a lasting legacy through your actions and contributions. It’s about being intentional in what you build—whether it’s your family’s future, your career, or the values you instill in your children. You’ll work on aligning your efforts with the legacy you want to leave, ensuring that what you create endures and inspires.
Session 11: the Celebration
One of the gifts of the archetypal masculine is discipline and focusing on the untapped potential, seeing what is left to achieve, and going after it. Over-expressed and left unchecked, this approach robs you of rest and restoration. This week culminates in a journey that proves a different reality. You’ll practice receiving candid feedback from each father and celebrate your wins (and failures, too) as each man takes a turn in the “King’s Chair.” You’ll honor your growth and ignite the passion for your next goal. You’ll break free from the cycle of never enough as you make time for calibration: the deeper you push, the harder you need to rest.
