You’ll get a professional-grade leadership assessment (the same one I’ve used for leaders at Amazon, Disney, Goldman Sachs…), clarity on your strengths, awareness of your stress patterns, and a five-year vision that feels alive and unavoidable.
When the four sessions end, the real work begins. The weekly council is the container that keeps your vision awake. Same time. Every week. Clarity, accountability, momentum. No disappearing. No falling back into old patterns. No losing yourself in the chaos of life. Just steady movement toward the future you actually want.
Enrollment opens four times a year. Once it closes, it closes. I’m inviting the men who feel the pull. My own life is full. I have a new child coming in March. What exactly is Inner Authority?
Inner Authority is leading yourself from your own deep inner knowing, growing beyond your family’s imprint. It’s what Dr. Robert Kegan would call the Self-Authoring Mind. It’s the calm, grounded center that separates the signal from the noise.
What if I can’t make every call?
To preserve confidentiality, no calls will be recorded. The real magic comes from showing up consistently for yourself and for the men beside you. The goal is to show up for all four calls. If you can’t, you can’t.
Will I get 1-on-1 time with you?
Every session includes laser coaching and live hot seats. Yet, this is not a 1:1 coaching container. Not every man is coached every session, but every session is designed so that you get what you came for, whether you’re in the hot seat or witnessing someone else’s breakthrough. That said, you’ll always have access to post questions and reflections inside our private group.
What kind of men join this?
Men who’ve achieved success and are ready to climb their second mountain.
What if I’ve done personal development work already?
Perfect. This isn’t your first step. It’s your next one. Many men in the group have done therapy, coaching, and walked across hot coals.
How do I know if this is the right time?
If part of you already knows, and another part is trying to talk you out of it, you’re in the right place. You don’t have to be ready. You just have to be willing.
What happens if I don’t do this?
You’ll probably keep carrying it all the same way, with a little more exhaustion each month. This work isn’t about urgency. It’s about truth. If you're feeling called, honor the call.
About Mark Guay
Mark Guay is an Integral Certified Coach and IFS practitioner with over 15 years of experience guiding business leaders to peak performance and personal growth in a way that aligns mind, body, and soul. As an adoptee and survivor of childhood domestic violence, he leads with this approach: To really change our lives, we must heal the past and embrace the unknown. To do this, we need self-accountability, the courage to take decisive action, a community of support, and trust that doors will appear, leading us on our path.
In addition to his coaching roles, Mark is an entrepreneur in the social impact space. He helped found a direct-trade coffee roaster in San Diego and created a series of mindfulness-based online courses that have impacted over 1 million leaders and entrepreneurs worldwide.
Mark holds a Master’s Degree in Education and is a member of Integral Coaching Canada, the International Coaching Federation, and the European Mentor and Coaching Council. His unique blend of skills in habit formation, parts work, psychedelic integration, and public speaking makes him a sought-after mentor and leader in the coaching community.
